Bulk commodities handling like Bulk commodities like Steam Coal, Fertilizers, Iron Ore Should be proficient in Incoterms Proficient in all shipping related activities Coordination with port authorities, vessel agents. Ensuring timely berthing of vessels, good understanding of charter party terms, discharge terms and its interpretation Preparation of vessel laytime statement, follow-up with Shippers Co-ordination with Karaikal and other ports for berthing of vessel and allied activities Co-ordination with senior management of Railways for rake allocation and effective monitoring of rake placements, rake dispatches etc. Maintaining good relationship with all stake holders like Port, Railways and Customs Co-ordination with Customs through CHA for timely filing of bills of entry, completion of final customs duty assessment on time Should be knowledgeable in all aspects of Imports and exports with special emphasis on coal Imports. Should have extensively dealt and interacted with Port, Customs, Railways etc. Should be solution oriented and be in a position to handle pressure Should work in a composed manner and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Possess good communication skills both written and spoken Proficient in MS Office, more specifically Excel and Power Point
